Mods, just for the record, Jim Plunkett was not the QB against M in the 13-12 loss, but the Michigan defense made Don Bunce look like Plunkett on that last agonizing drive to set up the winning field goal. I have never understood this loss. M had a fine secondary, Thom Darden, et. al., and were awful on that last drive. So many last second field goals to beat M in bowl games! In addition to this one, Auburn, of course Texas, what others am I forgetting (mercifully....). You are all the best, thank you for setting the gold standard.
