Farmington, Mich., three-star LB David Reese is reporting a new offer from Michigan today. A stout, run-stuffing middle linebacker who does better in coverage than one would expect with his playing style, Reese is currently committed to Louisville. So is his teammate, Dez Fitzpatrick (the two are close), and Dez has been making several visits to Ann Arbor in recent weeks. Interesting to see how this plays out. Although he is an in-state kid, Reese's father attended MSU and that is their in-state rooting interest. Not anti-UM, per se, but MSU was always that offer his dad had hoped would come through.
