I've learned that Michigan is sixth all-time in first-round draft picks.
But I remember seeing a stat that Michigan has had the most players drafted in the last....ten years? Or second most?
I can't find that stat readily available.
But the umichbball instagram account posted all the draft picks recently....and I had forgotten just how many there were from the Beilein era.
In no order....
Burke
McGary
Stauskas
Poole
Hardaway
Wilson
LeVert
Wagner
Brazdekis (umichbball insta forgot him)
Darius Morris (umichbball insta forgot him)
and Manny Harris went undrafted but got paid to play for many many years, as did DeShawn Sims.
Who have I forgotten? That's a lot of draft picks.
Amaker had two players drafted. Yes, I was reminded that Bernard Robinson Jr. was drafted in the second round. And of course Jamal Crawford.
