I know he has caught a lot of shit on this board, and rightfully so, especially for the O$U game last year and the targeting against the Domers, but I think he looks much better this year and he arrives at ball carriers/receivers w/ bad intentions. This kid plays w/ an edge and I like it (targeting calls be damned)!!!!!
One of the missing pieces thru this treacherous stretch has been what many refer to as “dawgs”. Metellus is a definitely a dawg and I believe we look back at his career when it’s done and say he was one of the best safeties we’ve had in at least the last decade.
