I spoke with a source in Colorado today and it sounds like Michigan is the frontrunner to land a commitment from four-star QB Dylan McCaffrey soon, maybe even within the next few weeks.
The source said the Wolverines have been the favorite for a while, especially given how comfortable the McCaffrey family feels around Jim Harbaugh. Dylan McCaffrey, one of the West region's top quarterbacks in the 2017 class, has felt like a priority for the Wolverines, the source said.
There is no time frame yet but I've heard McCaffrey could be looking to end his recruitment fairly soon, so it's certainly something worth monitoring as we approach National Signing Day.
