May I assume we can all agree that WVU & KU will never join the B1G?

Therefore, lets hope this ALLIANCE between the B1G, ACC & PAC 12 will positively succeed.

I recall there is now a push to drop the B1G & PAC 12 to drop from 9 - 8 conference games.

I ask WHY?

If we keep the 9 conference games we will play more B1G teams over time than we would with 8 games.
It also strengthens our conference schedule, which is a positive.

Then we can play a MAC school and an ACC & PAC 12 school each year. This will give us a very strong
schedule and IMHO will prove stronger than any SEC schedule, since their 4 OCC games in the future
will be against much lower competition. Like it or not, this actually plays out better in our favor to
getting more chances to reach the 12 team playoffs.

Our 12-1 record after winning the B1G has to be more respected than any SEC program with a 12-1 record.
Why? They played 4 cupcakes, where we played possibly 1 cupcake. But, our other Non-Conf game could
be against a B16 12 team which makes our schedule even more difficult still.

What say you?...
