We all know the main danger is that with 19 of the tournaments scheduled to end on Saturday or Selection Sunday, there is a likelihood of teams contracting COVID-19 and then having to miss the NCAA tournament.

How could Michigan justify playing in the B1G tournament this year, knowing that if a couple players got COVID, it would either compromise their ability to win games or force Michigan to skip the NCAA altogether.

But he brings up the other issues which include the probabilities that teams skip the conference tournament, which could allow leagues to manipulate the number of bids they get. Imagine if Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue and Minnesota sat out the conference tournament, and then the non-NCAA teams compete knowing the winner makes the tournament. You could literally have 10-12 spots go to leagues who have their locks sitting out.

I don't see anyway these tournaments are played under the current schedule.
