Mark Dicktonio's response to the camps is typical of the former Jim Tressel disciple. His response was implying that Harbaugh was "abusing" the use of these camps no matter what he would deny if asked. What a total ass. His head coaching legacy at MSU was defined in the 38-0 ass kicking by Alabama. After eight years of whining about respect he could not get it done when it was finally on the line for him. Total douche and hope that Michigan splatters them in East Lansing this year.

What did he say that was so bad?

Dantonio is a heck of a coach. There was only 1 team this year in the Big Ten who could have beat Alabama and Dantonio saw to it they did not get the chance.

I think OSU would have given Bama a game. I don't know if they win. The Issue Michigan State has with Alabama. Is that Bama is a better version of MSU. It is like two heavy weight boxers the bigger of the two wins most of the time. Because both are bound by the same rules. Teams like Clemson and Ohio State can compete better because their style is different.

Ohio State would have beaten Alabama last year but they played two complete football games the entire year and that was against Michigan and Notre Dame. Other than that, they learned that entitlement means nothing in football as Alabama learned against them the previous year. The Bucks were the best team in the nation last year and they blew it because Meyer is not known for his team discipline. When he was at Florida, his teams were absolutely out of control off the field, however, Tebow's reputation kept most of it out of the news.

^^^What are you talking about? It's been pretty quiet in cbus with Meyer. Tressel's track record is much worse so far than Meyers' is. You don't hear nearly the same noise about off field incidents as you used to.

Of course, that's subject to change without notice.

Scblue has been pushing the OSU didn't win the championship because he lost control of the team narrative since the end of he season. OSU was only a disappointment last season because the expectations were so high. As a team their performance would have been welcome by well over 90% of college football teams. And as far as The team being out of control... Out of control teams aren't playing their best at the end of the season. In fact it's usually the opposite.

OSU lost 1 game and that on a last second field goal. It's hard to repeat as NC. OSU had too many guys focused on the NFL. Meyer didn't lose control. He had too many pieces and 1 bad game late in the season.

and a lack of focus and program control. There is no doubt that Urban Meyer is one of the top two coaches in college football right now (the best is Nick Saban) and BOTH of those guys have the hardware to back up that statement. But, it well known that Meyer covets the win before the mentoring aspect of his career. Tebow's presence on his team really helped him out at Florida until his sudden retirement shed light on the absolute out of control activities of his players in Gainsville.

Believe as you wish. He is welcome in Columbus.

He will win more than one championship in Columbus as well but I do think it is going to be a hell of lot harder with Harbaugh in Ann Arbor and yes the Bucks kicked our ass this year but they were supposed to kick our ass like they did just like they were supposed to kick everyone's ass they played this year. Harbaugh is a also a great coach BUT he has to win a national championship at Michigan to be considered as good as Meyer. Even though Meyer has not coached in the pros, he has won the big one at two different schools. Saban and Myer are in a class of their own right now.

Uh, where you following the off-the-field happenings with OSU this year? Joey Bosa suspended, Washington picking up prostitutes, drunk-driving QB, etc. I'm not sure if they were much better at all than Tressel's boys.
