With their D, everything is challenged and the offense is so well run and doesn't make mistakes. Usually a lesser team wins by getting hot from 3 (which was more UM's game), but like UM in 2018 they are carving up Illinois by running great sets/ball screen offense, and taking what they are given, in this case foul line jump shots, and then frustrating Illinois by taking away any easy looks.
A coaching clinic reminiscent of some of Beilein's better performances in getting lesser talent (not that Loyola has nothing) to outsmart a more athletic team.
