So Jim's friends have convinced thousands including many here to buy into a narrative that Warde Manuel is a villain because he doesn't show Jim enough love or (take your pick) can't get a contract done.
Yet Jim wants the university to commit unprecedented money to him, guarantee his employment no matter what comes of an investigation that isn't over AND delay the start of the contract until 2/15 so he can keep the lower 1.5 million dollar buyout in order to keep the door open to sign with an NFL team on the cheap buyout until then?
Ain't that somethin'.
Looks like love is a one way street as it pertains to this contract.
OR like Jim/his agents are asking for things they know the university can't/won't agree to so they can have more time to process his NFL options. Hmmmm.
And to be clear I don't have any problem with Jim delaying until he can see what the NFL offers or asking the world of the University including the absolutely unagreeable. That's his prerogative. But the vilification going on couldn't be any less justified IMO.
