Lewerke executed the option perfectly in the opener against Utah State, the winning touchdown (and if I’m not mistaken a few more times too, but that play sticks out). I remember thinking I was glad they had to expose that play against the Aggies lol. Anyone know if the Spartans have used the option much since that game?
