Spoke recently with Henderson County HS (KY) Defensive Tackle Saadiq Clements and he informed me that he has an official visit with Michigan locked in for June 24-26.
He has two officials set up for June, the visit with Michigan and then one earlier in the month with Purdue (10th-12th). After those two visits he plans to make a commitment then sometime this summer. Kentucky was believed to be heavily involved, and I learned from the Kentucky site that last year at their camp he ran between a 4.7-4.8 40 and had the Kentucky staff buzzing. Something over the last couple months though has caused that relationship to go in another direction and the way it appears right now Clements is focused on choosing between Purdue or Michigan.
In regards to Michigan, Clements shared...."I like their coaching staff a lot and really everybody else there is great too. I believe I could develop as a person and into the player I need to be for the next level there."
When it comes to making a decision he said the "deciding factor is what feels more like home to me."
