No, we should never be happy without impressive wins over teams...because those impressive wins influence poll voters, poll position influences bowls, bowls dictate program dollars and National exposure , program dollars and exposure helps recruiting, and recruiting leads to more wins which is great for us and great for the University. The days of just win have been gone...it’s who did you beat and how bad did you beat them...haven’t you been paying attention to college football lately ?
Using that logic meant UM's recruiting class last year (top 3) wouldn't have the recruiting class it had, right?
No, it means it could have been stronger if we had beat some of those teams by playing more aggressive and beating some of those other more convincingly. More is actually “More” my friend .
