Just gave up field position and a punt return because JH wouldn’t let Petters throw the ball on 3 and 8, WTF??! Who believes that was a good call? Who?

And it continues...we run the ball to Center up to settle for field goal ... switch, them they have the same opportunity but go for the 20 yard pass for a TD...momentum =WIS...

Not gonna be super critical. UM had Wisky on complete lockdown in the first half. They had less than 100 yards of offense. After we get the pick and go up 10-7 Wisky's offense finally put together a drive then Peters goes down on the next drive. It was an unfortunate series of events but until that point we had no reason to believe Hornibrook was going to put together back to back first downs less known 2 TD drives. Also, Harbaugh didn't fumble at the 1 or have a brain fart and not cover a routine punt. It's a much different game w/o those miscues. Plus, all the dropped passes. Hell O'Korn might have been able to keep us in the game if guys hang on to the football.

My issue is with Don Brown in the 3rd quarter. We're getting beat over the top too much in critical situations (2nd / 3rd and long). Teams simply put a guy in the slot and throw deep. Same thing PSU did vs us. Our defense is a bit of a mirage. Even with the sacks, tackles for loss, QB pressures, etc at best they lead to punts. We're not creating a ton of turnovers. However, we always seems to give up big plays that lead to points on a drive. He's gotta find away to take the deep ball out of the equation and it starts with keeping those safeties out of man to man coverage downfield.

The play calling before halftime was criminal. No other way to describe it.
