Matta is only 53? That surprised me. I would think that, if he's healthy (had bad back problems when he left OSU), he'd be an intriguing candidate. Deep midwest roots, good coach and recruiter.
Scott "dirty" Drew would be a take for IU. Although, why would anyone want to leave Waco?
Beilein is on the list, but I'm not buying it from either end. Don't see IU bringing in a 68 year old coach who's system takes time to install. The first year is likely to be rough. And I don't see Beilein going somewhere where he'll have play against Michigan twice a year. Relocating would be a big issue when his wife, kids and grandkids are here. But I'm not in his head.
