My good news is, Brandon Peters gives me hope. I know he's young and 2 quarters does not make a superstar but this young kid gives me hope that maybe, just maybe the offense is finally turning the corner. I hate to say this but, I hope MN runs some twists and stunts against our O-line so we can see if the pass protection is getting better or last week was an illusion. I do believe the run blocking is improving dramatically and we will continue to get yards on the ground.
Overall I was really happy to see a lot of young blood infused into the offense last week. It gives me confidence that the idea of a meritocracy is not just coach speak.
I look forward to a strong finish. Nobody is going to pick us to beat Wisky or OSU but I think we win at least one and maybe both. If we only win one I want it to be OSU.
Cool weather has finally hit Fl and it's a welcome change. November is here and I plan an extra emphasis on Thanksgiving this year. I want to make sure that I take the time to truly reflect on how blessed I am. I think being sandwiched between Halloween and Christmas, Thanksgiving has become the stepchild of holidays. For me that needs to change.
