My good news is that Media Days signal the beginning of football season. I don't pay much attention to the Media Day circus, but it is my season kickoff. The dog and pony show for coaches and players lead quickly to fall practice and, finally, games. I sort of look at it like pre-season polls. Not a lot there, but it's fun to speculate.
I'm delighted with the early opinions on our new Santa. I hope he lives up to the rumors.
We installed another press at work this week. It's a great-looking little thing. It will be a helpful addition to bringing delivery times under our stated turnaround policy.
My daughter returned safely from her European vacation. While they had a good time and saw some beautiful locations, I think she has a renewed appreciation for the good old USA.
