Michigan class of 2021 in-state target Pierre Brooks Jr. will choose between Xavier, Michigan State and Michigan Wednesday. Not coincidentally, Brooks, Rivals.com's No. 113 player nationally, recently took a "virtual tour" of the MSU campus and (probably today), after which he chose to announce his decision date.
In other words, Brooks will very likely be a Spartan. He averaged Brooks 23.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.7 steals per game.
Michigan offered Brooks after the Wolverines' win over Michigan State at Crisler Arena this year. He's camped at U-M the last two years.
The Wolverines have also offered Farmington (Mich.) shooting guard Jaden Akins in the 2021 class, though he's also been leaning MSU. It remains to be seen if the Spartans would take both, but most believe they would. He averaged 23 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2,0 blocks per contest.
