Michigan's recruiting class of 2020 will probably remain a one-man class, officially, until the spring — that one is guard Zeb Jackson, who has signed his letter of intent. The 6-3 standout, Rivals.com's No. 56 senior nationally out of Montverde (Fla.) Academy, honored his pledge to former coach John Beilein.
Hyattsville (Md.) De Matha big man Hunter Dickinson is still planning on making his decision this week, but according to sources close to it he won't sign in the early period. Several believe U-M will be his destination, but the 7-footer, Rivals.com's No. 38 senior nationally, will wait until April to ink his letter of intent.
Notre Dame and Florida State are still in the mix while Duke is also an outside possibility. Duke's signing of four-star big man Mark Williams of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy made it unlikely he'd join the Blue Devils.
Jace Howard, a Rivals.com three-star out of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School, will decide before April, but he's also going to sign late.
"I have to [wait], but I'll make my decision way before that," he said. "I can't really say [why], but it'll make sense eventually."
U-M is also in on five-star Californian Josh Christopher, though he remains a long shot. The elite shooting guard will visit next weekend for Michigan's game with Houston Baptist.
