As Michigan prepares for the biggest game of the year on the field, the coaches and support staff are also preparing for the biggest game of the year in terms of recruiting. Nearly a dozen prospects will be in Ann Arbor for an official visit and as many as 50 may be in attendance for unofficials when the Wolverines host Ohio State on Saturday.

Out of the official visitors we have reason to believe that one will commit to the Maize and Blue this weekend. Multiple sources have informed TheWolverine that Michigan feels very strongly about it's chances to land Houston Westside defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, either before or during his official visit.

Further conversation from the Elliott camp indicates a very strong likelihood of that commitment. Elliott has not been shy about his affinity for the Wolverines, even publicly naming them his leader in an interview with TheWolverine back in late October.

Elliott has already committed and decommitted twice, first with Baylor then with Houston, largely due to his growing profile. The three-star prospect has a five-star offer list with tenders from Baylor, Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, USC, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon, TCU, Tennessee, and Texas A&M among many others. It looks like Michigan will win out over them all this weekend and in doing so will land a 6-5, 300-pounder ranked as the No. 28 defensive tackle nationally and No. 52 prospect in Texas.
