ITF EXTRA: A little conference-related update…

This one comes from sources close to the Big Ten. Kansas and Virginia are serious considerations for the conference. They check all the boxes, as far as prerequisites. Obviously, both would be knockouts on the basketball side of things, albeit the former would need to be kept in check (and keep itself that way).

Virginia can play a little football, too, although it wouldn't be a Notre Dame- or Texas-level add. And understand, we're just giving you what we're hearing.

Plus, this is only one of a number of options. But it's legit, and Virginia, in particular, is all ears.

Also, more evidence that the ACC is coming after Penn State … hard. Stay tuned.

Privy to a conversation by a reasonable (not Michigan-hating) source, regarding his takes on Jim Harbaugh and what has transpired in Ann Arbor under him through six seasons. Will be coming with those in another day or so.
