4 five star players in Hinton, Hill, Harrison, and Crouch.
Hell, landing two or three would be a major coup in an of itself.
Think about it like this:
Hill is from Oklahoma and the Sooners wanted him.
Hinton is from Georgia and the Bull Dogs wanted him.
Harrison is from Ohio and the Buckeyes wanted him.
Crouch is from South Carolina and Clemson wants him.
You could argue, outside of Alabama, those are four of the five most relevant teams the past 4-5 years in all of CFB.
To pull just one of those kids away from the hometown team, mind you, a very successful home town team that gets anyone they want in their home state, would be an impressive feat in and of itself.
And we’ve already done that TWICE, with a STRONG possibility of pulling it off a third time (Harrison), and a real shot to do it a FOURTH time (Crouch)...in the SAME recruiting cycle!
I cannot emphasize enough how impressive getting 3 and possibly 4 players like this is.
Hell, Sparty rarely gets guys outside of the Midwest, and when they do, they are usually 2 or 3 star guys.
To get three 5 star guys in ACC, SEC, and B12 country, especially with major in state blue bloods that want those kids is maybe the most impressive haul I’ve seen since I started following Michigan recruiting. And the cherry on top would be going into Ohio and taking their top kid away from the Buckeyes.
