We seem to not ever make them in big games. We had 3 dropped interceptions, took a sack on 2nd and goal from the 2, dropped a touchdown and bobbled a snap on the field goal. Had a late hit on the qb that gave them 4 points and couldn't get off the field on 3rd down. You are not going to beat average teams doing that.
I like how the defense adjusted in the 2nd half and we didn't quit. We were also driving to tie the game up. All the things I mentioned, it was a miracle we were still in the game. Obviously the oline still isn't good enough, but we have to scheme around it. I agree with others that we might as well play Hudson and Mayfield and hope their learning curve improves as the season goes on. The bottom line is we have to make plays when we have a chance and we just dont do that, and it is very discouraging and I am bitterly disappointed.
