Is this the game we go into halftime with the kind of satisfaction we did last year over the first half of the season?
Is this the game we see a creative mix of all the plays this offense has shown to be effective against loaded boxes, rather than slow-developing handoffs into the teeth of them? Or slow-to-develop pass routes in the face of a fierce rush with no checkdown?
More importantly, is this the game we see the O-line gel, read blitzes and stunts, and all manage to take the right man? As "in the trenches" and the MGoFish videos demonstrate, our linemen have the physical prowess in spades to get the job done when they're in synch.
And will we see a ball carrier demonstrate the "hart" and hunger to really, truly block someone?
James J and company have had two weeks to smooth-out kinks while adding wrinkles. If I don't hit the sheets tomorrow nite with a big smile on my face, I doubt the optimism I felt after Florida will return at all this season.
