I am reporting alongside Trevor with this, as we've asked a few people about what's going on with the Big Ten expansion with the latest rumors swirling.

With the PAC-12 looking to be on the brink of collapse, we have heard from multiple sources that Oregon and Washington are on the top of the wishlist and no one else is coming close at the moment. With eyes currently squarely focused on Arizona and its plans to possibly join the Big 12, we are hearing that when the Big Ten decides to move on Oregon and Washington, this will get done quickly. Those are the only two schools being considered right now. There does not appear to be any major hurdles that need to be cleared once the stage is set.

I don't know if adding Oregon and Washington is contingent on what Arizona does, but the sense I get is that the Big Ten is just waiting to pick the carcass of the PAC-12 once Arizona makes the move.

Big Ten could look stunningly different here shortly if all goes to plan.
