Michigan's third week of spring practices were light this week as Wednesday and Friday are the only practice days of the week with the rest going toward lifting.

This week is dedicated, again, to the quarterback play.

We are told that the offense is coming along after an up-and-down week two. It was made clear to me that there is NOT a clear leader at the quarterback race right now.

"Nothing is close to being decided," I'm told.

All quarterbacks are taking reps with the 1s, 2s and 3s.

Things continue to be even between Alex Orji, Davis Warren and Jayden Denegal, with Denegal having a bounce-back week after being inconsistent the week before. Jadyn Davis continues to show promise but is making a lot of freshman mistakes, which is to be expected considering Davis should still be in high school right now.

The one big knock with Davis right now is that his arm strength isn't nearly as strong as the other three quarterbacks, which, again, is another one of those freshman things to work on once he gets his legs underneath him with the strength and conditioning program.

That's all I have for now.
