Since Jose Perez hit the portal today from WVU, he’ll certainly have his fair share of suitors as Michigan and Gonzaga immediately reached out to Perez upon entering the portal.
I think the perception right now is that Michigan is considered a big front runner for him, and I do believe the confidence is there. We’ve seen this play out before so I’m hesitant to say that this is a for sure thing.
However, from what I’ve been told, he has spoken to WVU players and confirmed with them that he has spoken with U-M and is potentially planning a visit. If he does take that visit I think the chances he ends up in Ann Arbor go up in my mind.
