Back in the day when you only got a few Michigan games a year on TV, I spent a lot of Saturdays getting my football fix going to other stadiums to watch other teams play. The next day I would watch College Football 77, 78, or whatever the year was. It was a recap show of all the big games hosted by Bill Flemming. I would get a minute or two of the Michigan highlights. The rest of the week I would scour the papers for any info on Michigan I could get. I don't miss those days at all. Say what you like about ESPN but I'll always be grateful that the started the TV college football revolution.
