Why do I feel like we’d be so much worse off for a long period of time than say OSU, Auburn, or USC? I mean they hardly missed a beat. And were they even punished that harshly? I get the feeling the NCAA would hammer us and the UM power structure would punish us even more. I can see Ellerbe-like years for years afterward. All this talk about us ‘doing what everyone else does’ is just never going to work here - which makes me kinda proud too.
Instead, we gotta get better players along the DL like Woodley, Graham, and Renes for crying out loud. And tons of skilled secondary players - quick twitch types from places like Pahokee. We HAVE to get WJ and Jackson - go all out and tell them they could play immediately here. Maybe we are not as far off as we think.
