If Michigan is a protected seed, would the committee really send UM to Columbus?

Talk about the wrong year to have a protected seed. Last year, you get Detroit, this year Columbus.

In all seriousness, I would think there has to be some common sense on the committee and that it realizes that Columbus is basically the worst host site to send Michigan (especially if paired with MSU). We'd basically be talking about playing in the most hostile environment imaginable. In round 1, probably wouldn't matter given the opponent. But playing a 7/8/9 seed, we should not be playing as a road team.

Looking at the other sites, I actually think the best location for Michigan would be Hartford. We have a lot of East Coast alums and it's not too far, and as long as we're not playing Uconn or Syracuse, they should send us there.
