Am so depressed and pissed I just don’t know what to do. . I am so tired of Jim’s acceptance of the staffs failures and poor game plans , adjustments
and schemes that it makes me sick. We lose to OSU and at least we can say sadly they are just a better team. But today ? To lose to THAT team and get out coached by THAT staff , by as one poster said JUCO’s , 2 stars and kids that we didn’t want ( one from An Arbor ) what is it going to take for this program to
sit up and be counted ? When is Jim going to look in the mirror and say this isn’t working and I need to make changes ? Do the Bucks really need to rack up a 100 before Don Brown goes off to retirement ? I think most will say Gattis was a good hire , but I will also say his time here is short. Jim needs to find a Gattis type for his defense. Somebody who can coach , recruit and be a little flexible In his approach. I mean clearly Dons approach isn’t doing it and yes results in big games DO matter. We have bad corners , tackles , and don’t seem to really get production from our better players in big games. I read about Hutchinsons post game brief comments , and IF he is considered one of our better players his stats today sure didn’t reflect it. Why is that ?
Finally how come in these big games does it APPEAR the other team wants it more ? How can a bad State team open the game driving down the field ? How can we look so ill prepared ? What will it take for Jim to take charge , say enough is enough , hold coaches accountable , players as well and get the teams attitude to the point where they look,like they want to REALLY compete in a game this season ? That sure didn’t happen today. Is he going to waste this season
or make some decisions about the future direction of this program ? I sometimes think he has just turned the keys to the Wolverine car over to Don Brown and Gattis and seems like he could be sitting in a seat in Section 1 with a beer and hot dog. Somebody screws up on Sabans sideline or Dabos and they are in their ear. Jim sure doesn’t seem involved. I guess maybe I am just blind , but today really made me sick. I said as soon as Sparty scored right away to my son.
