JH has had success here, no doubt. This year stinks (in general) but if there was a year we needed spring/fall practice to be 'normal' this was it...5 new OL, new QBs, 3 WRs gone, best DB gone, LB injuries...
I'm in the minority, but I think there is talent there. The young WRs will hopefully take another step and the OL will mature. QB should be competitive.
I think there is talent on D, it's just young. Youth, COVID, arguably our two best players taking a flyer on the season.
From what I have heard DB has become the problem, not just with schemes but getting along, I am confident from what I have heard, he will be in New England next season and not with the Patriots.
Football fortunes can turn on a dime. I look at the #2 Fighting Irish got their asses handed to them in AA next year. Teams turn it around all the time, I think there is enough young talent to make it a go.
