I know for the first couple of years after Harbaugh was hired, everyone outside the Michigan family though this was just a sidebar for Jim and he'd be back in the NFL in a year or two. Insiders that understand his love for Michigan always knew that the narrative was bunk but you really can't fight the media.
As an outsider looking in, I am wondering how long Urban will be at OSU. My theory is he's setting up his departure on his own terms. Revealing he is dealing with health issues was the first step he took at Florida when he wanted out. That scenario has started to repeat itself this year at OSU and it wouldn't surprise me that after the season he steps down.
