Kind of interesting that he was somewhat in the middle of the Iamaleava thing...

Weird that Iamaleava ended up at UCLA.

My contention about Dante Moore is that he had some type of unspoken deal to return to Oregon in the portal after "getting his feet wet" at UCLA. Moore was fully committed to Oregon until signing day- Then he signed with UCLA contingent on a promise that he would play. Moore was a disaster at UCLA, and was the first name in the portal and back to Oregon without even a portal re-recruitment.

It was almost as if Moore's transfer was already in the works when he signed with UCLA- Oregon probably told him that he wouldn't have a chance to start as a true freshman, and I wouldn't be surprised if they told him to latch on somewhere that will promise him starts, then Oregon would grab the experienced Moore out of the portal to truly compete for a starting position (which is finally happening his second season there).

Something really stunk about that, and I can't put my finger on it. Now the idea that Lanning was in the middle of some Tennessee player's drama makes me more suspicious. Dud just seems slimy and grimy- He's always in on late flips and the multi-flip guys, and recruits at or often better than the level of programs that have actually won titles: OSU, Bama, UGA, Michigan...

Lanning has never proven sh!t except for losing the biggest games on his schedule- Twice vs Utah in 2022 and Washington in 2023, and in the playoff game vs OSU, where they didn't show up.
