I’m always interested to hear what brings people into the Michigan fandom. I’m especially interested to hear about those of us who aren’t from the state and did not attend the school. For me, it was my grandfather. He received his masters in actuarial sciences from Michigan in 1956 and lived in Warren for 2 years afterwards with my grandmother. They eventually relocated back to his hometown of Cincinnati in 1959. He raised my dad and aunt to be Michigan fans and my dad passed it onto me as well. Sadly, he passed last year in March, but nobody, and I mean NOBODY, hated Ohio state more than him. Hoping for a magical season in his honor this year. What about everyone else?
