My first question is in regards to our Point Guards that we have now and how it relates to the way we are recruiting.

I see everyone is assuming that Walton and Spike will be our main PG's for the upcoming season with Walton starting and Spike being the Back-up and at times they will be playing at the same time, and I see people saying Rahkman will get no minutes and he probably will redshirt this upcoming year. I share that sentiment except for the Rahman part.

- I don't necessary see him being the odd man out, because he got a lot of meaningful minutes last year and played pretty good too. If you go back to the MSU game at MSU Rahkman played an awesome game. Inn my 28 years of watching UM basketball there haven't been too many players be our leading scorer @ MSU while forcing OT as a Freshman. IMO he provides something the other two guards don't, which is the ability to score in the post as well as shoot and make 3's and take his man off the dribble. I read somewhere where Rahkman would be the 1st man in the gym shooting and the last ma to leave, with that dedication to his game, I believe he takes some of those PG minutes this Year and he can also play and guard the 2/SG position, where he could get some minutes. IMO he ends up being a very good 4 year player.

1. Where do you see rahkman fitting in this upcoming season, do you see him redshirting, riding the bench every game unless there is an injury or a blowout, or do you see him getting a decent amount of play?

2. Which comes to my next question, do you think he can run the PG and be our Main PG once walton leaves?

I believe he can become our full-time starting PG once Walton leaves, which makes me wonder why we didn't continue to go after Langford and Cumberland once Battle committed, because i don't think PG was that much of a need to tell Langford were full except for PG's. I believe we could have gotten one in the 2017 season and have him be the back-up and be groomed under Rahkman during the 17 season and have that PG fully take over the next year once Rahkman leaves.

What do you think our Starting Line-up will be this upcoming year?

I think its:
PG - Walton
SG - Levert
SF - Dawkins
PF - Irvin
C - Doyle

Bench - Backup
Pg - Spike (A lot of minutes, 6 man maybe)
SG - RahkMan (also gets some minutes at PG)
SF - Duncan Robinson (Gets a lot of minutes for a Back-up at the 3 and 4)
PF - Chatman (My hope is he lives up to his expectations and if he does he could take Dawkins spot)
C - Wilson (Wildcard, if he's strong enough to guard the C position, then he will get a lot of minutes IMO)

NO minutes unless blowout etc
PF/C - Donnal
PF/C - Wagner (IMO he redshirts to get stronger and use the time to catch up to the speed of the game)

IMO Duncan Robinson doesn't start the beginning of the season, we all know he can shoot, but if he can guard the 3/4 position he may take over the starting spot later, but the way Irvin and Dawkins finished out the last season, I don't see how they get their spot taken, especially with them expanding on their game this offseason with Sanderson, IMO they will solid at those positions.

This is Beileins deepest team since he has been at Michigan and they will be a very good team this year. I cannot wait to see how the freshmen have developed in this offseason, as well as Robinson, If everyone keeps with the team mantra and no one pouts about not getting more minutes, I believe this will be a great team, at least a sweet 16 team, and they have the potential to be a Final 4 team IMO, i guess well just have to wait and see.

WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK??
