should be paid. The argument is look at how much money is going to the adults, etc.

Well...why not keep the system and refund the excess money to the ticket holders and reduce expenses.

Shouldn't the money follow back to where it was 'stolen' from? ;)

Those $200 football tickets --- one nice thing, they do fund ALL the non-revenue sports. They fund A LOT of scholarships for the non-revenue athletes.

And, to be honest ----- whereas many football players are just in it to (a) hopefully get to the NFL or (b) make connections ----- a lot of those non-revenue athletes are actually student-athletes getting meaningful degrees.

Some of the best people I've encountered in my career are the one-time BC baseball player, the one-time Cincinnati Bearcats soccer player, the one-time Lehigh volleyball player. An actual student-athlete who graduates with an eventual degree is an asset to society, they understand hard work and leadership and teamwork.

So from that POV: keep the money in the system. I'll pay the money.

But you agree when push comes to shove and there is extra money left on the table to just refund it to the customers rather than pay student athletes?
