The loss yesterday cemented the feeling for me that we have become Iowa.
Highly paid coach that will keep us in the top third of the B1G but never challenge for a National Championship and only occasionally make a run at a Conference Championship.
It seems we are quickly approaching a fork in the road. Take the safe route and sign up for a Hawkeye-like path? There is some value in that. Or, roll the dice again and gamble in a high stakes game.
Our track record has shown this isn’t a quick and easy fix. I don’t envy those who have to navigate this decision.
