We need a MAJOR overhaul of the offensive line coaching staff. Greg Frye isn't working out. Tim Drevno is a disaster. He's been in charge of the offensive line for 3 years, yet still had Nolan Uluzio as the starter today after 3 subpar performances. Well, it was freakin'g apparent after ONE drive that Nolan isn't ready yet for prime time, yet Drevno / Frye kept him in the entire 1st half. Nolan was a DISASTER. Sorry if his parents are reading this, but Nolan was really bad tonight. He finally got replaced in the 2nd half, although it didn't seem to help much. Fact of the matter is that both Frye & Drevno have NOT been able to teach / coach our young linemen on how to pass protect against a simple stunt or blitz. So, until that changes, the Michigan offensive lines will suffer. Harbaugh is unquestionably loyal to Drevno - that's why Jedd Fisch isn't the Offensive Coordinator. But, Drevno sucks as an Offensive Coordinator and his lines at Michigan have been horrific. So, it's time to give Pep 100% command of the offensive play calling and DEMOTE Tim Drevno to OL coach. Tim, if you want a head coaching job somewhere else in the off season, go for it...we won't miss you.
