Hey guys, I have a relative that's in a really bad place right now (mentally). He has a son with Myotonic Dystrophy and he and his wife have had a really tough life. They cannot do many of the things that we all can do due to his condition. Everyday things that we take for granted, like sitting on your couch and reading a book in silence, are unheard of in his home.
He does the MDA walk every year. It's been at Ford Field but this year, it will be at Belle Isle. And they even get t-shirts with their team name on it. This is his one passion... His purpose if you will. He is determined to be part of the solution to find a cure. I don't see him get very excited for anything other than this. This is his Super Bowl!
We could use your help in raising money for this year's MDA walk. Anything helps. Every year, he gets to see humanity's selflessness. Guys... This is the best part!!! He's an Ohio State Fan. I told him about our tight-knit community and I made him promise to sport some Michigan gear and I'd post it here. I appreciate all of your help. God bless and GO BLUE!
