Is there any word on Manuel filing grievance with The Conference for the officiating?
For the second week in a row we witnessed Michigan get hit with a horrendous holding penalty that was nowhere to be seen the consequently removed a big play, and 7 points off the board!
Now, I agree that the call on Higdon was much more egregious, but the one on Wilson was nearly as awful! Any person with two eyes can see he never grabbed ahold, pulled, or tackled the defender. Tru loses his footing, pushes the defender as he falls forward, and as the defender makes a move to avoid he loses his balance and falls. Meanwhile, Patterson's perfect throw to DPJ for a TD gets brought back because the back judge can't tell his asshole from his elbow.
If the officials continue to make game altering calls like this with no grounds for the penalty, it is eventually going to cost Michigan tremendously at a crucial moment. Perhaps somewhere like Columbus?
