Being 2-4 really sucks, we all know that. However, this is just a strange year across the board for tons of major college programs. LSU is 3-3 and likely to not win more games. PSU is 1-5. Michigan is 2-4. Wisconsin has only played 3 games. BIG teams - outside of OSU - all really suck actually. I honestly think while it's easy to get caught up in the moment of how bad we are playing, I would not be shocked if people chalk this season up to a 'free play' that you get when the defense jumps offside. I think tons of programs are likely viewing this year as such. There will be an asterix next to everyone's record this year including those that make the playoffs. Teams like OSU may make the playoffs with just 5 wins for instance.
I think JH comes back regardless of results unfortunately as does most of his staff. I do think there will be some kids that will likely get pushed out however for their entitlement and poor atitudes (as eluded by the ITF writers). I do think Warde renews JH's contract for another 4-5 years but likely has a much cheaper buy-out clause in the event JH does not show dramatic improvement next year.
