- 4 ⭐️ 2026 Arizona State TE commit Israel Briggs made his first visit to Michigan today, and loved it. Israel has a really strong relationship with Coach Steve Casula and loved the turnout for the Spring Game. Also noted that Ann Arbor reminds him a lot of his hometown, which would be really important if he ended up joining the program. Plans to take an official visit, and will get a date scheduled soon.
- 4 ⭐️ 2027 EDGE Jaxon Holly had a really good time today at the Spring Game watching his brother Julius, a fellow 4 ⭐️ EDGE who Michigan picked up out of the class of 2025. The Wolverines have the lead here, from my understanding.
- Michigan is building up some genuine momentum in the recruitment of 3 ⭐️ 2026 LB Mathieu Kanu. Newly-hired recruiting analyst Avery Bean showed Mathieu around the campus, and the personal touch/hospitality made an impact for Mathieu. He'll return for an O.V. on either May 30th or June 6th.
- Michigan hosted some surprise blue-chippers today as well, including 5 ⭐️ 2026 EDGE Anthony Jones and 4 ⭐️ 2027 WR Monshun Sales. I'd say the Wolverines have some significant work to do with Jones, but currently hold the lead for Sales, who has been on campus 3 times over the last month.
- Will have more intel in the coming hours and days.
