I think I've discussed this a little bit or referenced it, but I'll give you guys a bit of a more insightful background into what happened with Michigan and Nathan Bernhard now that Brady Smigiel has committed
- As @Josh Henschke reported, Michigan's offer to Bernhard was conditional, in the sense that it would have come to fruition had Smigiel chosen to commit elsewhere
- Bernhard and his family loved Michigan and had it as their top school - they appreciated how open the program was in their QB recruiting process
- There were some discussions around Sherrone Moore and Chip Lindsey taking 2 QBs this cycle, but I think they'll look to pursue that next cycle, given the standard of the class is looking a bit higher quality (reported on that already)
- I'm anticipating an NIL-heavy push for another 5 ⭐️ QB next cycle
