Clemson DT Tre Williams entered the portal this morning and I expect mutual interest between he and Michigan, and things could move quick here.
Williams has already had five seasons but was granted an injury redshirt for last season.
He dealt with injuries at Clemson in 2020, 2021, and 2023, only contributing in a rotational role before this season. This year, he played in all 14 games and started 3.
Williams had 14 tackles this year, including three for a loss and two sacks.
At 6'2 315lbs, Williams would be a good depth piece to add for the 3T with Trey Pierce and Ike Iwunnah.
