We have seen similar scenarios time and again and nothing of substance ever happens. I have zero inside knowledge... Just my opinion. The athletic dept at OSU has already prepared for this situation, and has become very good at getting out in front of this. They are probably already many layers down the road in this whole scenario. A few will take blame and be the fall guys for any sort of wrongdoing that can’t be “muddied” away. New pieces will be placed and the machine just keeps on rolling.
My prediction is maybe a 1-2 game suspension to stem the tide. He will play against us. Anyone found “too guilty to still be directly involved with the program” will be moved out after they complete the season and have a chance to compete for the national title. The fake punishment of vacating wins doesn’t change the narrative in their fans eyes or recruits eyes. And it wouldn’t happen for years down the road.
