ESPN had an article about age of all the current NFL stadiums. I'm reading through all the name changes of other stadiums. Dolphins Stadium has had 8 different names since 1987. I started thinking about the Detroit Arena & Stadium names. We have had so few name changes in our history. It's defying the trends at this point. Comerica especially. Banks go through mergers all the time & change their names.
Many different characteristics make NFL stadiums unique. Age is often discussed among fans. Here's how stadiums stack up from oldest to newest.
