I figure when March rolls around North Carolina State will probably have a profile similar to say Michigan last season. That being somewhere around 80 RPI with a win/loss record in the ballpark of 17-15. Basically, your typical Minnesota or Northwestern team from recent past.

If Michigan is on the bubble, this won't be a featured win. However, it will help in categories such as "road record" or "record vs RPI top 100". It won't be listed, but included in the totals.

I do have some slight hesitation for the bubble because mainly the conference is awful so far. Instead of battling out for top honors, the Big Ten is challenging the Mountain West and SEC for the sixth best conference. If that doesn't change, then beating the mid level teams (Illinois, Ohio State, Indiana, etc) will be no different than beating NC State tonight.

On the flip side, Michigan looked good tonight. The manner of which it happened is what you would expect from a conference contender.
