Likely losing Mone and potentially Taco - hope those big guys are ok and make it back in a couple weeks. Not going to use one game to judge our season. I imagine Hawaii players are probably severely jet-lagged and this was essentially a 7am game for them - really tough. I don't think they are as bad as the score indicates. Having said that, the past 8 years we have been an awesome September and October team - true judgement will happen in November. Despite depth, if Lewis, Mone, Taco, Hurst, and Ben Braden are all injured we will be a weaker version of ourselves.

Evans is awesome! Way more patient then any RBs we have.

I didn't see it either but JH addressed it at the end of the game. Apparently they are going to do an MRI to find out - hope he's ok, he broke his leg last year - feel bad for the kid. Best case scenario is that it's a sprained ankle and he sits out for about 4-5 games.

The one benefit we have with our schedule is that our first 8 weeks our games are manageble...we have 4 bad teams (Hawaii, UCF, Illinois, Rutgers), 1 team that is a mystery (Colorado) and 2 scary but not with a lot of offensive fire power teams (Wisci and PSU). And we get a bye week in there. I think we can afford a couple injuries and still get through the first 8 weeks with a 7-0 record.

Taco, Mone, and DeVeon injured during the game. Hurst, Braden, and Lewis before the game even started.

Well at least it's the DL that is mostly getting hit, a very deep part of our team
