Chris Balas said/reminded me of something about the qb play/Rudock...

he basically said the only reason Rudock is here is because the UM staff realized that had zippo at qb (no offense to Morris).

This brings me to the next point...doesn't seem to be a lot of chatter about bringing another qb from the staff. This says to me that UM is happy with O'Korn and/or Morris/Speight. I find the latter unlikely. Maybe they think Peters can compete immediately? What about Gentry?

My point is that if UM isn't bringing in someone else then they must feel good about their existing guys. I wouldn't mind another guy to compete but Balas said it best...UM wasn't even interested in Rudock until they experienced the....Oh....cr_p moment.

I believe that Peters is the real deal and O'Korn is very good. O'Korn will be the transition program QB until Peters is ready. Peters will play at least 3 years unless he leaves early.

There has been plenty of chatter about bringing in Taysom Hill from BYU, but that probably won't happen as he'll likely follow his coach to Virginia.

Wouldnt want taysom anyway. Hes very talented. But talent cant do anything from the infirmary

They also looked at that FCS kid who ended up picking Oregon.
Yeah, him too. Dakota Prukop. I think one of his coaches ended up at Oregon, which helped sway his decision.

Harbaugh will always be on the lookout for these types of guys. I think O'Korn will be the starter, but Harbaugh isn't just going to hand him the job, he's going to have to earn it.

That's a nice Affliction shirt you are wearing.

You know Speight looked very, very good in that game-winning drive vs. Minny. Look at the way he throws, on his toes, a third down strike for TD...combined with O'Korn and then the hope that a young guy takes a step up, I think they are looking great at depth.
